Not sure if it was the pairing, Penelope Cigar sessions vol. 1 or something else but this was the first time I’ve ever really enjoyed this cigar. In the past it’s always been ok but tonight for whatever reason it just hit perfect. Absolutely wonderful.

Mild flavor, but tons of different flavors packed in. Mostly leather and cedar with a spiciness and mild nutty flavor. Burn was fairly consistent with some minor touch-ups. Effortless draw and inch long ash. Second half was more flavorful, spiciness and cedar really popped out.

First try for the H-2K-CT and first smoke at the new place. Absolutely loving both!

Never been a big fan of Connecticut wrappers. Not bold enough for me. Had a stem at the cap that made it unpleasant. Overall not terrible, but wouldn't buy again.

Genuinely impressed by my father cigars. Really enjoyed this cigar and am looking forward to getting another few (maybe a box...)

2nd cigar smoked. Much lighter than the 1st I smoked. Still not as sweet as l would like, but still a good smoke. Not too much pepper and spice.
