I'm told that if I mention the actual former name of this CAO blend I may be singing Soprano for the rest of my days after getting a legal junk punch to the man business.
Now called CAO Consigliere, you don't have to be a Kraut-Mick adopted son to know what this used to be called. Don't worry, no changes to the blend, only the blend name and some packaging tweaks. Still made at CAO's Nicaraguan factory this sultry beauty brings a dark, oily Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, Honduran binder, and filler blend of Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Colombian tobaccos. An extra helping of complexity along with a wonderful smoothness. Earthy nuances with notes of pepper and a semi-sweet aroma. If you enjoy medium to full-bodied burners that evolve throughout the smoke, bring along your Consigliere.

Good Sunday morning smoke with a protein espresso ice coffee to start!

CAO Consigliere
This CAO held its end up. Construction, draw and burn were awesome. Flavor earth notes and nutty. Medium strength

CAO Consigliere
The aroma was pretty nice but the flavors were too muted for my liking. It's the first of a five pack so maybe I'll have a different opinion with the next one.
