Covered in tobacco leaf as opposed to cellophane, the premium Leaf by Oscar Corojo Robusto cigar distinguishes itself from all others with this unique presentation. Peeling off the outer layer, you will find a flawlessly rolled Honduran puro covered with a luscious, oily Corojo wrapper. With a mellow to medium-bodied profile, this slow burning gem serves up easygoing flavors of sweet tobacco, coffee, cedar, and subtle hints of spice.

The use of a tobacco leaf instead of a cellophane wrapper was a nice touch.

The last of the Leaf sampler pack. I was hoping I’d saved the best for last but did the exact opposite. Pre light I was excited to try this, smelt great, nice oily wrapper and good construction. Once lit there was very little flavor to start and the first third had a very flaky ash, maybe 1/2 inch in and it fell off. Ash got better after that and flavor got stronger but just not that great of a stick.
