This may very well be one of my favorites from La Palina. The profile is dark and bold, with notes of espresso, cocoa, leather, and earth. The palate presents no pepper, but the retro is intense with it. Very smokey thanks to a smooth draw and bet even burn.

Not the greatest burn but tons of flavor. Bold dark chocolate with coffee, earth, and leather notes. Definitely a top contender for the price.

Pairs well with a dark roast coffee. It went halfway through the thrid act. I just chewed on the nub for a few hours. Not bad for the price.
