The popular Leaf by Oscar Corojo Lancero cigar is easily recognized with its crude tobacco leaf casing that replaces standard cellophane. This outer leaf serves the purpose of ensuring maximum freshness, by allowing the cigars to breathe. It must work, because this thin, mellow to medium body smoke is brimming with warm and inviting flavors of coffee, sweet spice, cashews, cream, and subtle hints of chocolate.

The use of a tobacco leaf instead of a cellophane wrapper was a nice touch.

The last of the Leaf sampler pack. I was hoping I’d saved the best for last but did the exact opposite. Pre light I was excited to try this, smelt great, nice oily wrapper and good construction. Once lit there was very little flavor to start and the first third had a very flaky ash, maybe 1/2 inch in and it fell off. Ash got better after that and flavor got stronger but just not that great of a stick.
