The new Liga Privada T52 is the highly anticipated follow up to the coveted Liga Privada No. 9 by Drew Estate. The T52 employs a unique stalk-cut Sungrown Habano wrapper overtop a signature recipe of seven different varieties of tobacco. On the outside, the stalk-cut wrapper is exquisite....dark, reddish-brown and glistening with oils. After rolling T52 is aged one full year, resulting in a brilliant array of complex nuances. Bold, distinct and loaded with notes of leather, earth, spices and black pepper, T52 is robust and satisfying.
Drew Estate Liga Privada T52 received a well-deserved 92-rating noting: "A dark, oily robusto packed with full-bodied tobacco, though it burns and draws evenly. The smoke is bold with cedar and leather while touches of orange peel and acidity come through on the palate."
NOTE: Just like Liga Privada No. 9, only the best rollers are used to ensure a perfectly constructed, utterly consistent product. T52 production is extremely limited.

Drew Estate Liga Privada T52
A fun alternate vitola to the blend. The profile consists of creamy leather and some cedar. Most of the spice appears on the retro. The draw is smooth with a ton of smoke output, and the burn was fairly decent.

Drew Estate Liga Privada T52
A good staple blend here. The profile consists of a heavy but creamy leather note mixed with some cedar. Most of the spice appears primarily on the retro. The draw is smooth with a ton of smoke output, but there were a few corrections needed to prevent the burn from running on one side.

Super smooth, sweet and creamy

First 2/3rds were fantastic. Last third got some char flavor. Also developed burning issues in the last 3rd. Good but not sure worth the price.

This one is a Toro, not the Robusto. Prelight has a slight barnyard. Scent is rich and deep. Tasting notes start with Hickory, and a bit of Cedar. There's definitely leather at the beginning, which then turns to an undertone reoccurring intermittently. Smoke is abundant while the burn is even. The draw is outstanding. The cherry forms perfectly, while the desired sugar ring forms. Entering the second third, there's an undertone of apricot, while overall the smoke has become a tamed leather. A light intermittent forms in the palate. Toasty Cedar and leather remain prevalent, while a relight touch-up is necessary. Entering the final third, the spice intensifies. Cedar and leather continue to lead. The cigar has a notable mineral undertone now. Rich with depth. A full-bodied and opulent finish.

Had one of these from a pyramid sampler sitting for the better part of 5 months. Ive had these before, but i think sitting them is a good idea. This one had almost no pepper burn through the retro, just smooth creamy smoke.
