The '94' rated, the #15 Cigar of the 2020!
A partnership between Ashton Cigars and the García family, La Aroma de Cuba was a hit from its inception, garnering multiple 90+ ratings for their exquisite boutique blends. Blended by José 'Don Pepín' García, each La Aroma cigar remains consistent from start to finish and features some of the best tobaccos money can buy.
Handmade at the My Father Factory in Estelí, Edicion Especial contains a carefully selected recipe of Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobaccos. Wrapped around this lush selection of long-fillers is a reddish Habano leaf cultivated in Ecuador, which lends a sweet/spicy characteristic to the blend's profile of cedar, coffee, and cream. The cinnamon & spice finish is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable you'll ever encounter. La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial is a highly recommended buy for all enthusiasts.

La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial
An elegant smoke that doesn't change much, staying linear. The profile has a lot of leather with some subtle wood tones underneath. Packed firmly, the construction is solid and enables a slow long burn that remains dead even.

La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial
TL/DR - mellow oak core. Some leather. The cigar is easy to like. Yet it's linear, so there's not much to love about it. I'll recommend it highly. And yet. I will not buy any more myself. Recommended 👍 Aged 1+ year. Dry-boxed 14 hours ⏳️ Pre-light is sweet and light. Construction and draw are both spot on. Everything you'd expect from an Ashton and Garcia collab. Light-up is easy with an even burn 🔥 The core flavor eases into a mellow Oak. There's a little leather here too. It wants to get sweet and then it doesn't. Nothing offensive, and yet, also not amazing. Light and mellow flavors, Medium nicotine. Because the flavors are mellow, I would say pair this with just about anything. I'd worry about getting the drink right, rather than worrying about ruining the cigar. It's linear, so there's not much to ruin.

La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial
Great flavor, unfortunately it did not burn well, which also affected the draw.

La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial
Pretty tasty smoke all in all. Good burn, enjoyed!

La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial
Struggle with the draw on this one, overall okay cigar.

La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial
Very flavorful cigar! Not so bad of a cigar. It’s definitely well aged. 1/3 so so, 2/3 definitely gotten better. Let’s see how this last 3rd finish up.
La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial
This is a dark chocolate coffee bomb. Spicy white pepper hit my palate on the immediate pull. I love that. Had to re light this one a few times but could’ve been my fault as I talk too much sometimes. Smoked it to about the 3/4 mark then went ahead and let it burn out.

La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial
Pretty good cigar. Burn was really bad. Very uneven. Decent flavor and good draw.

La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial
Very smooth, great aftertaste!

La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial
Overwhelming taste of cedar. Had to touch up several times. Kept going out on the final third. Finally put it down.
