AJ Fernandez is a 90-rated cigar machine who is arguably the finest boutique cigar producer today. Anything this guy gets his hands catches fire....in more ways than one. Blending a cigar is binary: you have it or you don't. It's like a foul shot. Miss enough and you'll become more associated with Icy Hot back patches than championship rings.
For a rich, earthy and slightly sweet experience, this is your blend. A PA Broadleaf maduro wrapper conceals a hearty Nicaraguan long filler and binder combination. Expect some coffee, cocoa influences with a long, medium to full finish.
If you like this blend, you may enjoy Penn Standard in terms of comparable flavor profile and superior cost.

3 - Buy a five-packer. This stick was a leather bomb. Dark earth and and a bit of spice on the retrohale. It also produced an incredible amount of smoke. The vitola size was great. Its an hour smoke with a great ring gauge. 1 - End of Days (98 -100) 2 - Buy a box (90 - 97) 3 - Buy a five-packer (74 - 89) 4 - Bargain-buy (55 - 73) 5 - One & done (35 - 54) 6 - Life is too short (15 - 34) 7 - Strait to jail (0 -14)

Super thick bold blend of chocolate, espresso, and pepper. Thick but not a tough draw. Smooth clean burn, amazing smoke.

Bitter chocolate, leather, and cayenne pepper that seemed to linger but in a good way. Also picked up some grassy notes. Overall a pleasant experience.
