A medium bodied smoke with a harmony of earthy, woody, sweetness, and cedar notes underscored by a rich creaminess. Its Ecuadorian Habano wrapper covers a Nicaraguan binder and a Dominican Republic and Nicaraguan filler. Handmade in the Dominican Republic, the Montecristo Ciudad de Musica strikes the right chord with cigar aficionados who appreciate a well-balanced cigar. The Montecristo Ciudad de Musica was composed by two cigar maestros: Altadis U.S.A. and Crowned Heads, and if that isn’t music to your ears, it was hand crafted at Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s Tabacalera La Alianza factory.

First time I tried the cigar about a year ago, I was very disappointed in terms of flavor. Unfortunately, this one is about the same. There are notes of dry chalk and odd pepper, but that is about it. Where I previously pulled wood tones, none of that came through this time. He draw and burner great, but it doesn't seem to make up for the lack of flavor.

A great cigar in terms of draw & burn, but a terrible cigar in terms of flavor. There's almost nothing beyond dry chalkiness except for the smallest amount of wood. A disappointment not expected from a Montecristo & Crowned Heads collab.
