Rocky Patel Hello Mellow Sampler

Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut

Excellent

Rocky Patel The Edge Connecticut (Lite)

Simply a basic & decent cigar. The profile has some spice to it, but the rest is mostly tobacco & ash. Although the appearance is simple, the draw is open and the burn self-corrected each time it got off point.

Rocky Patel The Edge Connecticut (Lite)

Always a nice, Medium flavor -and strength cigar.

Solid Connecticut

Tog ett tag att få igång cigarren, träsmak, krämig men inte över driva noter, svår att avnjuta då den inte var så komplex, kanske en aning för torr? kanske för liten snipp?

One of my favs. Calling this my house cigar

Rocky Patel The Edge Connecticut (Lite)

Unassuming cigar: only a foot band. Flawless construction, great draw, goo burn. Balanced bold flavor for a connecticut cigar. Some spice, overall smooth and balance, mellow to medium strength. Great smoke for the price

Rocky Patel The Edge Connecticut (Lite)

Very mellow creamy smoke. A little bit of grapefruit spicy essence halfway through. I enjoyed this one more as it burned down.

Well rollled cigar: few veins, almost invisible seams, well packed, firm with some give, no soft spots. Hay and grass scent, some sweetness (golden raisins?) in the cold draw. Good draw, plenty of smoke. Mellow, well rounded, medium bodied flavor in the first third. Consistent, balanced, not terribly complex, no transitions, but pleasant to the nub.

Excellent smoke! Good looking wrapper, solid construction, good burn. Excellent tobacco taste and room smell. It plugged up a bit at the ½way point, but a hot-purge cleared it right up. "Stack of dimes" practically the whole way. Going into the final⅓, picked up some faint floral notes on the retrohale. Kinda had graham cracker notes throughout. This is my 3rd time with these, and I will definitely buy more. Very enjoyable smoke.

Unremarkable, mild cigar. Well built, good draw, fine burn, plenty of creamy smoke. Flavor wasn’t my favorite, notes of grass/hay and pepper, a tad bitter in the end.

Smoke was smooth with plenty of smoke only needing one touch up. The draw was loose for my preference but didn’t really affect the smoke output. Flavor profile was balanced throughout the first 2/3 but heat picked up in final third.

Very nice cigar for a shorter session: well built, smooth Connecticut wrapper. Hay, grass notes before lighting up. Nice burn, needed a small touch up. Slightly tight draw, not too bad. Good smoke. Very, very mellow. Can be a great morning or in-between cigar. Grey ash, a bit flaky but very solid. Flavor get somehow stronger but always mild. Not very complex, easy going and very enjoyable. Will buy it again

Very creamy profile with a super subtle hint of spice. The creaminess holds throughout with absolutely no bitter hit at all. Great cigar from a Connecticut wrapper.
