A medium bodied cigar that delivers notes of pepper, cedar, and vanilla. This Nicaraguan puro sports a Corojo wrapper and binder draped over a flavorful mixture of Corojo and Criollo filler leaves. Handmade in Nicaragua, the Guardian of the Farm Apollo received the #8 spot in Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2017.

Decent cigar. I expected big strength, but it was a solid medium to me. Some deep espresso notes with some spice on the retro hale. It did go out on me a few times near the end.

Very sharp spice note on retrohale and pepper on the tongue. Burn line was all over the place. Gave up at the half way point because it started making me nauseous. Definitely a no on buying this one again.
