E.P. Carrillo Pledge

Very good cigar, complex flavors and nice transition. Dark chocolate and espresso, lots of pepper at the end.

A great complex smoke. Always delivers.

TL;DR - a sublime journey. Toasty oak, hints of black cherry. Black pepper precedes the baked apple finish. A dark smoke. Recommended 👍 Aged 16 mos, dry-boxed 3 hours ⏳️ Pre-light sweet tobacco. Light-up is easy 👌 Goldilocks construction and draw. Initial impressions: Dark roasted espresso bean fades to toasty oak and hints of black cherry. As the smoke warms up, it gets a bit spicy too. Black pepper is prominent in the final third just before the brief baked apple finish 🍎 Medium/dark flavors and medium/heavy nicotine. Pairing ideas: this is a dark smoke, so something sweet would pair well.

Chocolate, espresso and raisin. Part of a new breed of blends exploring flavor journeys previously untold.

when i asked for a richer cigar the tender had one in hand and it did NOT disappoint. deep spicy smoke. i really enjoy the lingering smell of this cigar on myself lying in bed after smoking.

Very dark, coffee bean and espresso. Not as sweet as expected. Beautiful draw and burn.

It honestly can't see or taste much difference between this and the la historia. It was good and creamy. Lots of good chocolate flavor. Burn was off in the the final 3rd. Overall and good cigar but nothing spectacular.

14 months of rest now. Bold and creamy dark chocolate and espresso are prominent in this one. Rich tobacco paired with a very smokey draw makes it even more fantastic. An almost perfect draw. Acquired from TGS24 event.

Great smoke. A bit on the strong side for my personal preference. Maybe next time I’ll save it as an after dinner cigar.
