For 2018, Hoyo de Monterrey and AJ Fernandez have released the third entry into their La Amistad series with the La Amistad Black. Featuring a dark and oily Ecuadorian Sumatra Oscuro wrapper on top of a rich Mexican San Andres binder and choice Nicaraguan Habano filler, La Amistad Black Toro is a bold, full-bodied toro that is sure to please both traditional and modern smokers alike with its smooth yet complex notes of leather, cinnamon and pepper.

18 months rest did this cigar very well. Black pepper, leather, and a little cinnamon come through boldly but smoothly. The solid construction provided both great draw and burn.
