25-Count Alternatives Collection

Way back in 1976 when JR Cigar was just starting to climb the ranks to become “the World’s largest Cigar Store” , we created the groundbreaking line of JR Alternative cigars. They turned out to be our bestselling brand for the last 46-years. The concept behind this exclusive Alternative line was to provide our customers with our version of many of the most popular premium brands on the market for a price that can’t be beat. To accomplish what was intended, we contacted the most prestigious manufacturers in the industry to create a version of their most popular cigars using similar or the exact same tobacc...o used on their first-rate offerings. The manufacturers sent us their cigars in giant bags in the nude with no labeling . Then, in our warehouse, we cellophaned each cigar, placed the JR band on all of them and packaged them in affordable bundles of 20 with the Alternative to the original brand written on each bundle. Today the JR Alternative collection includes the most popular brands on the planet featured in a staggering array of sizes, strengths, and blends, all made to be as close to the real deal as possible, or in some cases it’s the exact same cigar! Our 25-Count Alternatives Collection is your formal introduction to our version of Montecristo White, The Cuban Montecristo, El Rey del Mundo, Hoyo de Monterrey, and the groundbreaking ( 4 x 60) Nub form Oliva.
