La Aroma de Cuba
This Connecticut shade cigar offers a medium to medium full-bodied experience. It boasts excellent aromatic flavors of coca, black pepper spice, and earthy taste, all balanced by a creamy, nutty finish. Each flavor is well-executed and not overpowering. The smoke output is good, making it a must-have for any humidor.

La Aroma de Cuba
TL;DR - wood, leather, and distant roasted peanut. A worthy Maduro representation. Recommended 👍 Aged 1+ years, dry-boxed 5 hours ⏳️ Pre-light is very light apricot. Light-up is easy 👌 Goldilocks construction and draw. Initial impressions: light wood and leather with distant roasted peanut. Burn 🔥 is even and reliable. Medium flavors and medium nicotine. Is this a keeper in my regular rotation? I'm leaning into "probably" if only because it represents what a Connecticut Maduro cigar "should be". It is a very well made linear cigar that stays clear of typical, dark (burnt) coffee and near burnt flavors found so often in other Maduro blends.

La Aroma de Cuba
Cedar and leather. A smooth linear smoke. Exceedingly well built and burns great.
La Aroma de Cuba
Nice medium cigar good flavor

La Aroma de Cuba
Very elegant Cuban style cigar, Extremely Smooth and great experience.

La Aroma de Cuba
Sat in a humidor for 11 months, oh my what a Connecticut right here!
La Aroma de Cuba
Mineral barnyard and cedar. Great construction burn and draw. Just not the flavor profile I prefer. Still a quality smoke just prefer the aroma over this.

La Aroma de Cuba
TL;DR - Cedar with intermittent leather. Recommended 👍 Aged 9 mos ⏳️ Pre-light is cocoa, and dark-chocolate covered black cherry 🍒 Light apricot and black pepper taste 😋 Top marks for construction and draw. Light-up there's a brief apricot that didn't return. Core flavor is toasty wood 🪵 Whispers of leather. Second third, the wood develops into Cedar. Retrohale light wood and leather.

La Aroma de Cuba
Definitely on the medium-full side, with notes of pepper and wood. Started relatively soft but changed the profile in the 2nd 3rd. Nice smoke.

La Aroma de Cuba
“El Jefe” Bigg stick here. Decent pepper and earth on the front third which mellows out to let the earth shine. Not bad
La Gloria Cubana Serie R
Burn and draw ok. Not very good smoke per draw. Had to relight once. Full bodied. Flavors of cedar oak espresso chocolate and spice.

La Gloria Cubana Serie R
'R'guably La Gloria Cubana's finest. The La Gloria Cubana Serie R cigar utilizes an Ecuadorian grown Colorado shade wrapper, or Connecticut Broadleaf maduro, concealing an extensively aged blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan filler leaves. The result is a richer, spicier, fuller bodied version of the regular La Gloria Cubana cigar line. Using thicker ring gauges, the Serie R helped pave the way for today’s thicker, bolder cigars. Experience the beginning of a legend. The Serie R has been honored with a 92-rating noting: "Rich in color with an oily wrapper and superbly crafted cap, this short robusto draws and burns evenly. Sweet woods and floral notes are balanced by spices, earth and hints of dried orange peel."
La Gloria Cubana Serie R
Full bodied and bold. Pepper leather espresso and a hint of sweetness. Burn uneven, had to fix once after ash dropped. Draw on the tighter side with not as much smoke as I prefer. Aged 2 months.

La Gloria Cubana Serie R
Great stick. Did not pick up on any in particular flavor notes, but very very enjoyable.

La Gloria Cubana Serie R
I wasn’t really impressed with this La Gloria Series R No. 5. The appearance was not appealing, and also it could have been the shops humidor that caused its deconstruction. The flavor started off good, and quickly descended to a full white pepper note that continued on to the last third. The burn was not consistent, and mushroom out due to the cigars construction. I expected better since the shop was running a sale with a large cigar tray.
La Gloria Cubana Serie R
Full bodied while also not being overbearing
La Gloria Cubana Serie R
Full body and robust flavor. Smooth draws, burn started uneven but evened out a quarter in.

La Gloria Cubana Serie R
There is virtually no resistance on the draw of this. Doesn't feel like it has any tobacco in it. Like just breathing in. Not my cup of tea.

La Gloria Cubana Serie R
Great stick, very smooth and flavorful.
