La Aurora is the Dominican Republic's oldest brand and is rolled at the country's oldest factory. Made in limited quantities, the Preferidos is one of the best-selling super premiums made in the Dominican Republic. Available in an assortment of wrappers, the cigar has gained worldwide recognition for its quality, consistency, and flavor. Manufactured in the same way that the company has traditionally done since its start in 1903, these cigars are constructed with the best selection of leaves that are aged for five years, four years curing and maturing, and an additional year aging in barrels of rum. Presented in attractive tubes, La Aurora Preferidos is a product made with careful, loving attention. 

Enclosed in an emerald green tube, the Preferidos Emerald showcases tobaccos from Brazil, Nicaragua and Peru, all held together with a Dominican binder and a Sumatra-seed Ecuadorian wrapper. Featuring rich natural flavors such as cedar and coffee, as well as bitter flavors from the Sumatra-seed tobacco, this cigar provides a complex, creamy medium bodied smoke.
