JR Pure Origin Gran Vulcano

JR Pure Origin Gran Vulcano Toro Cigars are Nicaraguan puros highlighted by the use of prized Ometepe tobacco. An island formed by two volcanoes rising out of Lake Nicaragua, Ometepe’s nutrient rich volcanic soil gives the tobacco a naturally sweet taste and fabulous aroma. We used these Ometepe tobacco for the binder and long filler blend and combined them with additional fillers from the fertile Jalapa Valley. Then, after further aging in fragrant cedar bins, the cigars are covered by a beautiful Cuban-seed Habano wrapper also grown in the Jalapa Valley. What makes JR Pure Origin Gran Vulcano Toro a first of its kind for any cigar on the market, is the fact that all the tobacco was grow...n using an environmentally friendly method of cultivation. To create a smoke of exceptionally quality and refinement, JR turned to none other than the famed Plasencia family who for many decades have remained the largest tobacco growers and cigar manufacturers in Nicaragua. After lighting this flawless (6 x 50) Toro, you’ll be greeted by rich, complex, flavors of earth, sweet spice, leather, and hints of chocolate, that combine for a truly unforgettable medium bodied experience.
