Henry Clay War Hawk Churchill cigars are expertly rolled in a hefty (7 x 56) format using a slightly tweaked blend of tobacco found in its original Dominican counterpart. Appropriately named, these hawkish cigars break their own tradition by not using the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper found on the original Henry Clay line. Instead, the cigars are covered by a stunning golden-brown Ecuador Connecticut wrapper while the original broadleaf wrapper is now used for the binder. The rest of the blend utilizes a core of the finest aged Honduran long-filler tobacco....

Continued review with a great deal of rest time. The flavor profile includes spice & cedar with creamy undertones. The draw was smooth with a decent amount of smoke. The construction was a tad spongy this time, but the burn remained fairly even.

Overall, a great cigar with creamy pepper and leather notes throughout very consistent. This was one of the first cigars I would search for when I first started smoking cigars. Will continue to add to my humidor cycle.
