Oliva Serie O
3 - Buy a five-packer I really loved the larger ring guage of this stick. It was very hefty in the hand a great big grip for it. The pepper was very smooth on the retro and like another Oliva I've smoked, I get the hay flavor that i find kinda unique to the brand. Id call this stick a medium body with a thick smoke. I think this would be a fantastic camping cigar. It'd large enough to keep for a few hours and light enough that I could also be drinking with it. I think its a good any-time cigar that won't break the bank and one that i could hand out and not cry about. 1 - End of Days (98 -100) 2 - Buy a box (90 - 97) 3 - Buy a five-packer (74 - 89) 4 - Bargain-buy (55 - 73) 5 - One & done (35 - 54) 6 - Life is too short (15 - 34) 7 - Strait to jail (0 -14)
Oliva Serie O
Smooth yet rich and complex retrohale.

Cohiba Red Dot
Not worth the price

Oliva Serie O
This Nicaraguan Puro was a medium to bold stick, quite similar to the Serie V Melano. The Maduro wrapper really brought the whole thing together. It had a subtle hint of dark chocolate and a generous amount of toasted nuts. The smoke output was satisfactory. Pair excellent with Buffalo Trace Bourbon.

Cohiba Red Dot
For the most part, this is a very consistent cigar. The flavor notes remain fairly linear, with no transitions. However, the profile brings out charred word and a creamy undertone, with a bright white pepper hit coming on the retro. The draw was open with a ton of smoke output.

Oliva Serie O
Salty cedar and earth. A solid smoke with a classic profile.

Oliva Serie O
TL;DR - a classic cigar featuring Cedar Earth and mineral. Some herb in the long finish. Not mind-blowing, but certainly worthy. Recommended 👍 Aged 15 mos, dry-boxed 1 hour ⏳️ Pre-light honey 🍯 and barnyard. Light-up is easy 👌 Starting core is salty cedar. Goldilocks construction and draw. This is a classic linear cigar with the core developing into Cedar and earth / mineral. Burn 🔥 is a-ok. Medium flavors and medium nicotine.

Cohiba Red Dot
The draw was tighter on this one than I remember previously, which required more effort to pull smoke. However, the burn stayed fairly even with this, only needing one correction. The flavor profile presented mostly charred wood and some creamy pepper.

Gurkha Beauty

Ok. Nothing special

5 Vegas Gold
Great smoke. Easy draw, great mellow-medium profile, a little more pepper on the last third but still enjoyable.

Oliva Serie O
Great cigar

5 Vegas Gold
5 Vegas Gold are my standard daily go-to cigar. Good draw, nice looking, inexpensive, mellow, good burn, and good tasting.
Oliva Serie O
Aged 5mo. Draw on the tighter side. Burn a bit uneven. Mild cigar. Mostly taste cedar with a touch of spice and coffee.
Cohiba Red Dot
Aged 4mo. Bit of a tight draw, burn a bit uneven. Medium bodied, smooth and creamy. Flavors of cedar pepper and a touch of sweet.

Oliva Serie O
Entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco, medium strength cigar. Tastes of cedar, cashews, chocolate, lots of spices like (white) pepper, cumin, with a finish of fresh wood. Even burn, firm draw and solid ash.

Montecristo Classic
Prelight was pleasant, though nothing special. Physically, the cigar is firm to the touch, but gives slightly. No soft spots. Essentially, the construction seems like it's good. I kept it 4 months in the humidor and gave it a 5 hour dry boxing to prepare it for the smoke. That's the last good thing I have to say about this cigar. Trying to get this cigar lit was nothing less than a fight. What I discovered about 1 and 1/2 inches into the cigar is that there was a center core that was not burning properly, and this was causing an uncontrollable runner. Every puff was Char. If you like to suck on charcoal, this cigar may be for you. To me, this cigar is garbage. Early discard. I will not be buying any more.
