Maximus. Taking Diamond Crown to another level.
If you enjoy the regular Diamond Crown blend, you’re in for a real treat with the DC Maximus. The secret behind this exquisite cigar is the dark, oily wrapper. Rolled with a super-rich, Ecuadorian-grown El Bajo sungrown leaf from the Oliva family’s farm, this cigar is almost as enjoyable to look at as it is to burn. A bold, full-flavored cigar that’s chock full of robust, satisfying flavors and luxuriously smooth from start to finish. A wonderful (but expensive) top-shelf premium.
Diamond Crown Maximus received a well-deserved 93-rating noting: "a rich, sweet cigar with plenty of cedar on the palate and a finish with notes of espresso beans."

Diamond Crown Maximus
TL;DR - Pure Luxury. Toasted graham cracker core turns to a confectioners cocoa and spicy brandy retrohale. Just wow. Recommended 👍 Aged 13 mos, dry-boxed 1 hour⏳️ Pre-light is dark chocolate 🍫 Light-up is easy👌Goldilocks construction and draw, though this cigar's wrapper had some light unraveling a few times. No big deal. Initial flavor impressions: creamy, toasted graham cracker. Ridiculous volumes of smoke come off this thing. Fantastic! A confectioner's cocoa appears about halfway in, now paired with a brandy retrohale. Wow, what a journey. Burn🔥was perfect. Medium-strong flavors and medium nicotine.

Great cigar: dark, toothy wrapper, well packed, no soft spots. Almost perfect draw, plenty of smoke. Dark, woody and toasty, espresso notes. Sweet, pleasant flavors. Strong, smooth and balanced cigar: a treat!

Diamond Crown Maximus
Lighter than would be expected, with creamy smooth aged tobacco and just a touch of spice. The burn tried to wave at times, but the draw stayed consistent.

Another great smoke from Diamond Crown. I do prefer the Julius Cesar but this was overall a decent shot experience.

Diamond Crown Maximus
The construction on this was phenomenal, burn and draw nearly perfect, and a beautiful seamless wrapper. The smoke output was perfect too, very creamy textured smoke. It was lighter than i thought it would be, the flavor was lacking in complexity, but it was good overall. I prefer the Julius Ceaser to this, but i would buy a few of these and age them.

Not as bold in flavor as I had read it to be. Still a good stick but for me the most enjoyable aspect was the aroma of sweet tobacco. The construction was as to be expected from a collaboration of Fuente, Oliva, and Newman. Overall a great cigar but at $13 I feel it's a little overpriced.
