San Cristobal Revelation

San Cristobal Clasico

San Cristobal Clasico
Expertly constructed and an outstanding smoking experience 👍 This is a mineral and earth-forward flavor profile that is in no way offensive. Confidently pair it with just about anything. As with my previous review, it also does not stand out with it's flavor profile. Like so many other blends, it lacks flavor depth, nuance or journey attributes. With so many things going for it, it's difficult to admit that I'll hold out for more worthy smokes in my humidor.

San Cristobal Clasico
This is a good cigar and would pair well with just about anything. Still, for all of its positive attributes, it seems to lack in flavor complexity or richness of depth making it feel more ordinary than it is.
San Cristobal Revelation

San Cristobal Revelation
Repeated review, such an elegant smoke. The profile gives out sweet notes of cocoa and some earth. The presentation is great, as with every San Cristobal. The draw and burn were fantastic.

San Cristobal Elegancia
This is a very smooth cigar overall. Goodbye notes consist of light coffee, a touch of vanilla, a little breadiness, and some subtle pepper. The draw was open and airy with a ton of smoke output. Fairly clean burn as well.

San Cristobal Quintessence
TL;DR - a linear mineral smoke. Not my profile. Not recommended 👎 Aged 11 mos, dry-boxed 6 hours ⏳️ Pre-light is intense honey 🍯😍 Light-up is easy 👌 Goldilocks construction and draw. Initial impressions: a classic profile. Earth, minerals, leather. Entering the second third, it's been a linear experience. Prevalent mineral core that's a bit too strong. This continues to the end. Burn 🔥 is great. Medium flavors and strong nicotine.

San Cristobal Quintessence
Updated review, 2 years later. Getting flavors of mild coffee and herbal notes as last time, but also picked up slightly more pronounced spice on the retro this time. Smooth draw and burn throughout.

San Cristobal Clasico
This classic cigar produces a bold blend of spice and dark cherry. The draw is slightly open, producing a good bit of smoke output. The burn stayed incredibly even throughout. Intriguing profile in general throughout the smoke.

San Cristobal Elegancia
The first one out of the San Cristobal lineup that I didn’t enjoy. Not horrible but just not for me.

San Cristobal Revelation
The cigar presents a velvety mix of flavors, consisting primarily of sweet cocoa and some earthiness. The elegant banding matches the presentation, with a very clean draw and burn.

San Cristobal Revelation

San Cristobal Revelation
TL;DR - Smooth, medium smoke. Another Ashton & Garcia masterpiece 👍 6 mos aged ⌛️ Prelight mild tobacco spice. Construction superb. Appearance smooth and toothy. Goldilocks draw. Light-up easy. Burn is perfect 👌 Flavors are enigmatic. Nothing typical stands out. Yet, it's outstanding. I tried white wine 🍷 (sauvignon blanc) in the last third, and that's a great pairing. Medium in both flavor and nic.

San Cristobal Elegancia
Very elegant cigar definitely add my to my humidor…
