Rocky Patel Number 6
Repeat review with almost 2 years of rest, and I'm still not a big fan. There's not much to it. There's a subtle touch of wood but the profile is mainly of baking spice. The extra rest did allow a slightly nutty tone to come through. The draw was smooth with a ton of smoke, which was the most appealing aspect of the cigar overall.

Very flavorful, little dark for my liking. Would like a bit better draw.

Honestly, there's not a whole lot to the profile of this cigar. There's a very subtle touch of wood tones but the profile is mainly of baking spice. The draw was smooth with a ton of smoke, but the wrapper started unraveling halfway through so the burn had to be touched up all the way down.

This Maduro was an NICE!. It’s a fine Honduran puro, offering subtle hints of natural sweetness, a light floral aroma, and a subtle pepper kick. I also had hints of toasted bread. The medium body is beautifully balanced with a slight nicotine kick, and the smoke output is excellent. This cigar is definitely a keeper for my humidor.

Bold flavor and a good smoke!

TL;DR - mild in both flavor and Nic strength. 5 mos aged ⏳️ Prelight unremarkable. Light-up is easy. Draw is good. Seems like oak is carrying the core. Starting with the second third, Carmel comes and goes at the back of the pallet. The wrapper is damaged in 2 places when the band is removed. Except for the caramel nuance, this smoke has been mild and simple.

I’ve aged this cigar for weeks now and admire its construction and general look. I wanted to like it more than I do. It’s NOT a bad cigar. But it’s also NOT a good cigar. I see and taste and smell quality in it, but there’s no element that sets it apart from countless others, sadly. RP produces solid sticks, but this is one I wouldn’t miss if I never had it again. For me, the flavor is very hay and earth throughout. It doesn’t kick but it’s also not buttery smooth. It’s a classic 5/10.

Medium hay black pepper to start. Great construction, but I wouldn’t buy again if flavour stays this way. Pepper dialed down. Great burn and draw. Buzz halfway through. I’d buy again and smoke after a meal

Picked this one up in a RP sampler. Build and burn are great! Medium strength cigar. Tasting notes wasn’t my favorite. Pepper, some cocoa and nutty finish.
