The Hiram & Solomon Traveling Man Toro offers a medium-bodied smoking indulgence with its specially selected tobaccos for four different nations. Its savory, natural Indonesian wrapper covers an Indonesian binder and a filler composed of Brazilian Arapiraca, Dominican, and Habano leaves from the Ometepe and Jalapa region of Nicaragua. This medium-strength stick offers notes of spice and coffee with a creamy finish. Handmade at the Plasencia Cigars factory in Nicaragua, the Hiram & Solomon Traveling Man was awarded the #2 spot in Cigar & Spirits Magazine’s Boutique Cigar of 2016. Proceeds from the sale of Hiram & Solomon cigars goes to charities such as the Shriners Hospital for Children.

Second review, greatly improved with 18 months of rest. The first time I tried the cigar, it had almost no flavor and the wrapper came apart. Now there are notes of cream and leather with hints of spice. The draw was clean and the burn only needed minor touch-ups. Much better this time around.

At first the cigar had little flavor, with just a touch of leather on the profile. Gradually as the smoke went down, a little creaminess and a touch of spice built up. The draw was smooth the entire way, but the wrapper cracked halfway down and blew open.
