La Palina Classic Maduro
5 - One & done. Construction was poor. Had to re-light a few times, tunneling, touch ups needed. Strong pepper in the retro and really burned my sinuses. When it did stay lit, smoke output was decent and was actually a smooth smoke texture. No real notes, just tobacco but enjoyable flavor. Draw was fine. 1 - End of Days (98 -100) 2 - Buy a box (90 - 97) 3 - Buy a five-packer (74 - 89) 4 - Bargain-buy (55 - 73) 5 - One & done (35 - 54) 6 - Life is too short (15 - 34) 7 - Strait to jail (0 -14)

La Palina Classic Natural
Third review, now with 20 months rest. The flavor profile has definitely smoothed out with the extra rest time, consisting of earth, mineral and spice. The draw and burn were both rather smooth with decent smoke output.

La Palina Classic Natural
Second review, now with 19 months rest. The first time last year, the flavor profile was quite odd. Flavor consists of earth, mineral and spice. This profile has smooth out quite a bit better than the last experience. However, the draw and burn were still nice with a lot of smoke output.

La Palina Classic Rosado
The Rosado variant has prominent notes of baking spices blended with some cocoa and leather. The draw was clean, producing decent smoke, with a perfect burn. A simpler blend that performed well.

La Palina Classic Maduro
This is a much better cigar than anticipated. The profile is bold with dark chocolate and espresso notes, with a touch of some wood tones. The draw was smooth with a ton of smoke output, with a burn that stayed incredibly even.

La Palina Classic Natural
There's an odd flavor blend to this one... General notes of tobacco and earth are primary, but there's a mix of bitter minerals and spice as well. The blend just doesn't hit well. All other aspects are decent - well constructed, open draw, and even burn.

La Palina Classic Connecticut
Doesn't seem to fit the bill compared to the other LP Classics. Flavor was nothing more than simple tobacco, and although the draw was okay, the burn was absolutely horrible. I had to touch up or relight the cigar about every half inch or so. Definitely not worth it.

La Palina Classic Connecticut
Excellent draw at first light. Ash is rather flaky, making a mess. Burn line uneven, requiring touch up frequently. Finally started to canoe in the final third. Finally gave up smoking it after several touch ups on the burn line. Found several pinhole and a couple of cracks where smoke would pour out as i touched up the burn line. Smooth taste, but such an inconsistent burn makes it a no-go in my book.

La Palina Classic Rosado
Decent draw. Had to relight at the halfway point. Burn line was so-so.

La Palina Classic Rosado
Solid. Not ama-za-zing
