This medium-bodied smoke offers a smooth, creamy smoking experience with nutty and woody notes. Its Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper sheaths a USA Connecticut Broadleaf binder and select Honduran long-fillers leaves. Handmade in the Dominican Republic, the Henry Clay War Hawk offers a milder alternative to its heartier cousin, and it is a great everyday smoke. The brand was named after the historic former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives during the 1800s.

Continued review with a great deal of rest time. The flavor profile includes spice & cedar with creamy undertones. The draw was smooth with a decent amount of smoke. The construction was a tad spongy this time, but the burn remained fairly even.

Repeated review with 14 months of rest. Spiced cedar with a little creaminess at times. Easy draw with a lot of smoke production. The construction was solid and kept a very even burn line. Stronger than expected.

Overall, a great cigar with creamy pepper and leather notes throughout very consistent. This was one of the first cigars I would search for when I first started smoking cigars. Will continue to add to my humidor cycle.
