Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 is medium-bodied blend showcasing a 10-year-aged Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper atop a blend of 7-year-aged Nicaraguan and Dominican long fillers. Fundamentally medium in body, this blend builds in strength as you burn it. Underlying hints of espresso with a core of spice, capped with a smooth, earthy finish and enticing creamy, cedary aroma.

Always a good smoke here. The profile brings out an immediate pull of pepper that tapers down into coffee and wood. As the pepper fades away towards the end, some licorice comes through. Great draw and very smokey on output. 18 months rest on this one.

Mostly leather with some hints of cocca. Construction is stellar wish the flavor was better. Not something I'd smoke again. 3 left in pack.

Mostly leather but good burn and draw. Not the prettiest cigar I have seen but overall decent. Not something I'd add to my rotation.

Burning down the last cigar of the first box i ever bought. I purchased the box in 2015 and these had quite the bitter flavor that made them less pleasant to smoke than most folks prefer. I didn't mind the bitterness, after all I love IPAs, but smoking it with a decade of age made a huge difference. Pre-light, i noticed the smell off of the wrapper was almost sweet, like it fermented even more while aging. After lighting, i noticed that there is no more bitterness and the flavor has become very hay-like, oaky, and leathery. Halfway through, the flavor really popped and I started tasting coffee bean and a nuttiness close to walnut, especially in the retrohale. This stick gets a bad rap in a lot of the communities I see, but with 10 years of age, it's one of the best cigars I've smoked this year.

A smokey pull that provides front end pepper with a blend of earth, woodsiness, and a little vanilla. Very even burn after 11 months in the humidor.
