This medium strength robusto delivers pleasing notes of spice, chocolate and sweetness. Its Ecuadorian Habano wrapper is draped over an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and a Dominican and Ecuadorian filler. The filler leaves have been aged 5 to 7 years. The Explorer is the first release of the ADVentura brand, which follows the fictional story of two 15th century explorers who set out on a quest to discover “the unknown pleasures of the world.” The ADVentura the Explorer Robusto Grande is hand crafted at the famed Tabacalera William Ventura factory in the Dominican Republic.

An OG favorite, very consistent. Heavy notes of wood, spice, and pepper are blended together completely from the first draw. The pull is smooth with an incredibly even burn throughout. The retro is smoother than would be expected. This one came from PCA.
