601 Blue Label Maduro

Repeat review. I've loved these but this one is was a disappointment. Draw was so open it was hard to enjoy. Rich coco and a nice white pepper

601 Blue Label Maduro

As from previous experiences, this is an outstanding maduro representation. Recommended 👍 I'm pairing it with a dark roast coffee this morning. So far, this seems to be offsetting coffee flavors of the cigar and enhancing other nuances such as Cedar and almond. I am definitely adding these to the humidor.

Spicier and better than the first one I had. An exceptional smoke. Highly recommended 👍👍 Aged 10 mos.

601 Blue Label Maduro

TL;DR - a solid and mostly linear maduro representation. A keeper. Medium roast coffee and Hazelnut with qualities of cocoa and limited wood. Recommended 👍 Aged 10 mos, dry-boxed 3 hours ⏳️ Pre-light barnyard and chocolate. Light-up is easy 👌 Goldilocks construction and draw. Initial: medium roast coffee. Hazelnut makes an entrance somewhere towards the end of the first-third along with a bit of wood. Maple? Toasted oak? The wood eventually mellows. Burn 🔥 is great. Medium flavors and medium nicotine making it very approachable. Paired well with both selzer water and coffee. I think this would pair well with just about anything.

This cigar smokes so well. Firm construction with absolutely zero burn issues. Draw was just right. Flavors are rich perfect with a dark beer, glass of wine,or bourbon.

601 Blue Label Maduro

This one starts a stronger smoke of coffee, earth, and spice. However, it smoothed out to be a medium-full super smooth profile with just a small pop of spice. Construction is solid, and the burn on this figurado remained very even.

601 Blue Label Maduro

1st of a five year pack with just a little over a month of rest. Looking forward to the rest and seeing how they age. Draw was a bit open and a sloppy cap but flavor and smoke production we're great with no burn issues. Cocoa and leather smooth

601 Blue Label Maduro

Smoking the 601 Blue Label Maduro (6.2 x 54, Box Pressed) delivers a bold, full-bodied experience right from the start. The first few draws bring a peppery kick, balanced by deep earthy notes. As it progresses, dark chocolate and espresso become more pronounced, with a touch of sweetness from the Maduro wrapper. The box-pressed construction ensures an effortless draw, producing thick, flavorful smoke. The burn is mostly even, with minor touch-ups here and there, but nothing that takes away from the experience. As the cigar develops, the spice mellows, allowing the chocolate and espresso to shine through in the final third. A smooth yet complex Maduro that’s well-balanced and deserving of its 90+ rating—definitely one to keep in the humidor!

601 Blue Label Maduro

A box-press beauty from Erik Espinosa. As if 601 Serie wasn't good enough, Erik Espinosa decided to raise the bar with this maduro-wrapped lovely finished in box-pressed format. On the outside, a dark Nicaraguan maduro glistens with oils and boasts a mouthwatering, toothy texture. Inside, a robust blend of aged Cuban-seed long-leaf tobaccos marries to promote a rich, medium to full-bodied profile layered with satisfying flavors. Expect a classic combination of earth and coffee complemented by a touch of spice on the finish. Naturally, quality is top-notch with each slow-burning cigar, so sit back and savor this impressive super-premium. Stack 601 up against any other box-pressed maduro on the market — we're sure you'll be pleasantly surprised. 601 Blue Label Maduro received a healthy, 93-point rating, which noted: "A thick, box-pressed cigar with a triple-seam cap and dark, clean wrapper. The substantial draw layers the palate with a chewy, complex smoke full of dark-roasted espresso bean flavours, touches of almond, and caramel."

601 Blue Label Maduro

Light up : peppery, chocolatey, citrus burn in the mouth. 1st. Retrohale is strong but has a slight vanilla finish to it. 2nd. No change 3rd. No change but the nicotine got stronger 8/10.
