Plasencia Cosecha 149 Toro (Azacualpa) cigars are produced by famed tobacco grower and legendary cigarmaker Nestor Plasencia as an expression of his passion for premium Honduran tobacco. This artisanal 6 x 52 masterpiece is composed of a wrapper from Olancho, San Agustín, a binder from Jamastran, and mix of long filler tobaccos from Jamastran, Talanga and Olancho. As for the name, all the tobacco used in this blend come from the Plasencia’s 149th harvest, which happened in 2014. Now that these vintage tobaccos have had seven long years to age, you will enjoy one of the richest and smoothest medium-full bodied cigars that you will ever smoke. Light this stick, and expect a rich tapestry of delicious flavors that includes coffee bean, leather, spice, earth, and cocoa, followed by an alluring sweet tobacco room note.

Plasencia Cosecha 149

A very consistent review, nearly duplicated. Coffee, cream, and a little spice come together for a boldly balanced profile. The construction & draw were immaculate, allowing for a very clean burn line.

3 - Buy a Five-packer. Ive had a few Plasencias now and this is my least favorite of amazing line. That's to say, it's a great smoke for sure, but compared to Plasencia's other lines id prefer a Sixto I. The draw was great and construction was good. Im still having some damn tunneling but I'm 95% its a user error at this point because not all cigars naturally tunnel. May be the humidity but... im smoking these right around 61-63 rh so I'm thinking I just must be stupid. Very low pepper on the retrohale. Got some good nuttyness and barnyard hay, which I can honestly say I enjoyed. Pretty much became an oak bomb in the first third and maybe more of a sourdough in second third. 1 - End of Days (98 -100) 2 - Buy a box (90 - 97) 3 - Buy a five-packer (74 - 89) 4 - Bargain-buy (55 - 73) 5 - One & done (35 - 54) 6 - Life is too short (15 - 34) 7 - Strait to jail (0 -14)

An often repeated & almost duplicate review. Coffee, cream, and a little backend spice come together in this blend for a boldly balanced profile. The construction & draw were immaculate. The burn needed a couple minor touchups this time, which is rare. This one came from the TGS26 box.

Plasencia Cosecha 149

A repeated cigar. Coffee, cream, and a little backend spice are full front on this blend in a perfectly balanced profile. The burn had an immediate tunnel for the first 1.5in that luckily corrected itself, where the burn & draw were level from there on.
