A maduro version of the cigar that won Cigar of the Year in 2014 from Cigar Aficionado, the Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro Limited Edition Figurado is a treat you do not want to miss. Named after the Oliva family’s patriarch, Melanio Oliva, this 6.5x52 treat with both the foot and cap tapered celebrates his legacy with some of the finest aged Nicaraguan ligero long filler and binder tobaccos grown on Oliva’s family farms. Surrounding the zesty Nicaraguan core is a top-quality San Andres wrapper with a dusky maduro hue. With the tapered cap concentrating the flavors onto your palate, you can expect a vibrant and complex full-bodied smoke with notes of dark chocolate, white pepper, cedar, spices, espresso, and tobacco sweetness. Pick up your Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro Limited Edition Figurado cigars in-store or have them delivered to your door by ordering a box of 10 online with Casa de Montecristo.

About one year of aging in the box. Great cigar. Yet I prefer the normal (not maduro) which I had earlier today.

Aged 20 mos ⏳️ Hands down, this cigar has a prominent cinnamon core. It's good, yet peculiar and nothing like I was expecting. In addition, it's a dry smoking experience. Not cravable. If somebody offered me one, I'd smoke it. I can recommend it 👍

Nice and chocolatey. Draw was great. A little less smoke production than I normally expect but no other issues. These are pretty consistent

Great smoking experience. Never went out and only had to fix the burn one time when I left it too long. Overall a solid cigar.

So rich and creamy. I love the dark chocolate flavor. Construction was great. Definitely not a cigar for just water.

Very mild! Peppery aftertaste about halfway through. Super easy draw. Stayed lit for a good while, then easy relight.

Full of spiced coffee and chocolate notes, the cigar just never seems to miss. Definitely worth one visiting time and time again. The draw is smooth, while the burn stays fairly even all the way down.
