Ligero Maduro

Kristoff Ligero Maduro is decisively bold, yet smooth and delicious, thanks to a meticulous blending of a dark and hearty Brazilian wrapper with sun drenched ligero tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Tantalizing notes of dried cherry, coffee bean, cocoa, caramel and spice make this fragrant Robusto a must try cigar! Sold in boxes of 20.

For me this was a good but not great cigar. Great flavors thruout but not very complex. Sweetness, dark cocoa, spice, espresso, caramel, black cherry, and rich tobacco. Transitions between flavor were very abrupt, the only constant was the sweetness. The burn needed a couple touch ups but other than that construction was very good.

Wonderful smoke, classic maduro taste with an unidentifiable extra sweetness.

Kristoff Best of the Bold Sampler

Kristoff Ligero Maduro earned an impressive 90-rating from Cigar Aficionado. Mmm, mmm. This cigar hits the palate with notes of espresso, dark chocolate, and mixed berries with a smooth and sweet cocoa finish. The Brazilian Maduro wrapper steals the show. Cuban-seed Dominican binder. Packed with Cuban-seed Dominican, and Honduran long fillers. A no-brainer box buy if you're a fan of medium- to full-bodied smokes.
