Davidoff cigars are known all over the world for their immaculate construction, their exquisite blending of the finest tobaccos, and being exclusive and hard-to-find. Davidoff Escurio is the follow-up to the highly rated Davidoff Nicaragua cigar, and is handcrafted at the company’s factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic. As with Davidoff Nicaragua, blending of this cigar was guided by Henke Kelner and Eladio Diaz, and this blend was created to be spicy-sweet.
The Davidoff Escurio is draped with an oily and dark Ecuador Habano wrapper with a Brazilian cubra binder and Brazilian cubra, Brazilian mata fina, Dominican San Vicente, piloto, and olor/piloto secos long-fillers. Expect a well-constructed, slow-burning, medium bodied cigar with plenty of complexity. Your palate will dance a lively Samba with rhythmic notes including leather, cream, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Consistent review. Immediately woody with a pull of spice that quickly enters into the profile. Hints of sweetness also pop up at times. Good construction, and the burn & draw stay adequate. A smooth cigar overall, always reliable.

One of my favorit cigars, specially the rubusto size Or bigger. A bit disappointed since I think the cigar is too humid for my liking. Last time I bought these were at davidoff in Monaco. I took them back to Sweden and smoked not long after. Didn’t own a humidor then so it had just been in my cabinet and that was perfect. Maybe a bit dry but I’ve had a couple glasses of wine by then so… Still an amazing cigar

Good smoke. Started up very spicy. Second half was sweet, almost a cherry wood taste. Good draw. Burn was ok. Had to relight a couple of time.

This had an unbalanced flavor profile. Also I didn’t care for the flavors possibly due to imbalance or subjective taste.
