Strapped to the gills and bringin’ the heat!
Check out this latest release from Matt Booth, the luxury goods Renaissance man behind the Room101 brand. We’ve been impressed by his delicious yet surprisingly affordable handmades before, but he brought the big guns for this release. Crafted at the AJ Fernandez factory in Nicaragua, this powerhouse blend is part three in a trio of limited edition Room101 blends to land on the sunny shores of CI Nation.
The Muzzle Loader is your ticket to the gun show, and I’m not talking about Matt Booth in a t-shirt. I’m talking about a medium to full-bodied blend of Nicaraguan and Mexican long-fillers, secured by a Nicaraguan binder inside a Habano wrapper from Ecuador. I’m talking about creamy, rich notes of leather and wood from a perfectly constructed 6” x 60 gordo. Most importantly, I’m talking about the next cigar you’re going to need in your humidor. Grab a bundle of Room101 Muzzle Loader today before the stores run dry.

Room 101 Muzzle Loader

Room 101 Muzzle Loader
Continued review. The flavor profile brings creamy leather, with notes of wood, a little spice and pepper. The smoke is a little chalky, but this one again had a few burn issues that needed help, just like the last one.

Second review, very similar. The flavor profile is a heavily creamy leather, with under notes of wood joined with a little spice and pepper. The smoke is a little chalky, but this one had a few burn issues that needed corrections.

Room 101 Muzzle Loader
The cigar puts out some massive smoke! The flavor consists heavily of creamy leather and wood, with some bright baking spice and white pepper coming through on the retro. The smoke is chalky, the draw is open, and the burn needed no corrections.

Room 101 Muzzle Loader
Haven’t met a 101 I didn’t like so far. Not as good as the Ichiban Maduro or the 12th Anniversary IMO, but definitely enjoyable.
