A sweet-tipped, medium-strength cigar with pleasing notes of honey, sweetness, and hints of cedar. Its Ecuadorian Connecticut claro wrapper drapes a Piloto Cubano binder, and Criollo 98 and Piloto Cubano long-filler leaves. Handmade at Jose “Jochy” Blanco’s Tabacalera Palma factory in the Dominican Republic. Just the cap of the Rough Rider Sweets Connecticut is sweetened, the rest of the cigar is not flavored, this lets the smoker enjoy the tobacco’s natural flavors and aromas.

Nice sweet tip. Canoed right off the bat. Touched up and it set itself right. First ash to over an inch, fell off revealing a fully involved filler. Wrapper splitting during smoke. Started to harsh out past halfway, though I was smoking quickly due to cold.

Burn was uneven, keep going out. Could be too much humidity.
