AJ Fernandez is a 90-rated cigar machine who is arguably the finest boutique cigar producer today. Anything this guy gets his hands catches fire....in more ways than one. Blending a cigar is binary: you have it or you don't. It's like a foul shot. Miss enough and you'll become more associated with Icy Hot back patches than championship rings.
Flavorful and mellow. Packed full of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos with a Honduran binder, expect smooth, creamy morsels throughout. An Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper adds layers of cedar. Mild to medium.
If you like this blend, you may enjoy Penn Standard Gold Standard in terms of comparable flavor profile and superior cost.
