La Gloria Cubana Spanish Press

Stop the presses, this is BIG NEWS!

From the beloved and always innovative La Gloria Cubana brand comes their latest release, Spanish Press.

Constantly sought-after for its expert craftsmanship and unique flavor profiles, La Gloria Cubana became one of the most popular brands ever created during the cigar boom of 1990s. As the name “Spanish Press” implies, these premiums undergo a pre-Embargo pressing process after being rolled. Placed in a vice-like structure which dolls out the desired degree of depression, the cigars are then bound in specially-sized wood boxes that encourage their final shape. Through applying an even amount of force, pressure is dispersed across the whole batch, reducing stress to the wrapper leaves, and preventing potential damage or structural discrepancies. The Spanish Press method also often ensures a perfect draw.

These Dominican-made premiums are chock full of tobaccos from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico’s San Andrés Valley, capped off with a redolent Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper. Savor every moment as this medium-bodied cigar is rich with notes of earth, red licorice, black pepper, raisin, and baking spice. A box-worthy blend, pick up yours today and experience a taste of yesteryear with a modern twist.
