Man O’ War is but one among many of AJ Fernandez’s innovative tobacco creations. Since the series began a decade ago, it has seen praise from the likes of the most virtuous cigar enthusiasts. Now, AJ has returned to us with something familiar, but refined, the Man O’ War Valkyrie. 

A “Desflorado,” or an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper leaf, stars in the thrilling experience that is the Man O’ War Valkyrie. Fernandez controls the tobacco growing process himself, removing the upper portion of the plant, which allows for rich nutrients and UV rays to be absorbed into the leaves. This amounts to an incredible combination of coffee, cedar, pepper and cream notes that flood the palate. A mellow cigar, but Man O’ War Valkyrie still delivers striking flavor.
