This Nicaraguan Puro with a habano wrapper was an excellent choice. It’s a perfectly balanced medium-bodied cigar that offers a delightful combination of flavors. I detected hints of toasted nuttiness, a subtle spice, and a creamy smoke texture. There might also be a faint floral scent. The smoke output is average to good, and the draw is slightly tight.

TL;DR - roasted beef with dalliances of cedar and chocolate. Recommended 👍 Aged 9 mos ⏳️ Pre-light is maduro and light barnyard. Top marks for construction and draw. Light-up is easy; burn-line starts good with developing sugar-ring. The expected "roasted meat" is more like beef roast with faint cedar playing the background. I like it. Unique. Wrapping the first third I'm getting an intermittent background dark chocolate 🍫 The burn is proving difficult to maintain. Relights become regular. Seems the cherry stays lit, but the outer ring has trouble keeping up. If you don't mind that, it smokes great. Wrapping it up, I'll call this one meaty 🍖 and hearty. Medium nicotine; medium/strong flavors. Pair with sodas like Coke or Ginger Ale. This would also do great with a chewy red wine 🍷

4 months humidor and. Draw was a bit tight for my liking but did not require reeming. Creamy flavors with some light pepper. Well balanced smoke razor sharp burn and held a long-term ash. My first Joya but definitely not my last.

The cigar provides a flavor profile of rich, creamy oak goodness. The wood sounds stay prominent throughout. There's just enough spice for an added touch without any harsh pepper. The draw was smooth and the burn only waved a little bit.

Burn and draw ok. Not very good smoke per draw. Had to relight once. Full bodied. Flavors of cedar oak espresso chocolate and spice.

The La Gloria Cubana Serie R cigar utilizes an Ecuadorian grown Colorado shade wrapper, or Connecticut Broadleaf maduro, concealing an extensively aged blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan filler leaves. The result is a richer, spicier, fuller bodied version of the regular La Gloria Cubana cigar line. Using thicker ring gauges, the Serie R helped pave the way for today’s thicker, bolder cigars. Experience the beginning of a legend. The Serie R has been honored with a 92-rating noting: "Rich in color with an oily wrapper and superbly crafted cap, this short robusto draws and burns evenly. Sweet woods and floral notes are balanced by spices, earth and hints of dried orange peel."

Full bodied and bold. Pepper leather espresso and a hint of sweetness. Burn uneven, had to fix once after ash dropped. Draw on the tighter side with not as much smoke as I prefer. Aged 2 months.

Was a DUD...Draw was EXTREMELY TIGHT, and the first 2 inches I had to restart over 5 times...GAve up and tossed!

Not as good as the last one. The wrapper was torn in a few places and the first half was pretty lame and tangy. The second half brought back many of notes of what I’ve enjoyed about these cigars. The burn canoed several times which I could see being the cause for the off taste throughout. Gave away 2 from this pack, smoked 3, and 4/5 were good. Will buy again.

Fun flavorful cigar. 1/3 Starts with a play of several note that swing back and forth from slightly sweet to a classic tobacco flavor. Walnut, cedar, and nutmeg(?) are the most prominent to me. Steady burn. 2/3 Flavors from the 1/3 are still present but muted, stronger woody flavor with toast and slight muskiness coming into play. Smooth. 3/3 sweetness fades. Pleasant finish. A new flavor is introduced but not sure what it is. Had to walk away halfway through the last 3/3 due to obligations. Looking forward to next time. Really enjoyed this cigar!
