Heavy savings on a 91-rated gem from the La Palina stable!
In what could be the biggest flavor innovation since Tide pods, La Palina Illumination finds its rightful place under the Cigar Page spotlight. A blend nearly identical to the La Palina Goldie (sans the strain of medio tiempo filler), Illumination is a fungible smokin' that'll have you jonesin' for more. Rockin a sumptuous, oily light brown Habano wrapper leaf and a ligero-heavy long-filler recipe (Dominican + Nicaraguan), Illumination lays it on thick. A complex profile that's spicy, sweet, and savory. Medium to full in body, it goes down surprisingly smooth considering the high-octane components. Love that! Grab a box or make it two, this special sale pricing is basically BOGO level when you factor in the discount vs. retail. So double down or triple up while the gettin's good.

Duplicated review, being very consistent after that one year of rest hit. Honey, cinnamon, spice, & cedar blended together very well. The draw was great, and the burn was very even throughout.

Continued review, keeps getting better with extra rest. Honey, cinnamon, spice, cedar blended together very well. The draw was great, and the burn was very even throughout.

Updated review, better with rest. Honey, cinnamon, spice, cedar. Everything blended together very well. The draw was great, and the burn was much more level than the stogies I smoked last year when they first arrived.

Honey, cinnamon, spice, cedar. Everything blended together very well. The draw was great, but it kept going out with some burn issues, just like the last lancero I smoked off this blend. Still a decent smoke.

This was is more complex than expected. Honey, cinnamon, spice, cedar. Everything blended together very well. The draw was great, but it kept going out with some burn issues. Still a good smoke overall.

A punch of pepper off the light that had me questioning my selection. Fortunately for me it balanced out very nicely and was complemented by earth and nuts. A perfect draw with an average burn that yielded rich dense smoke. What started as a flop quickly turned out to be great choice.
