A potent smoke with delicious notes of sweetness, chocolate, and coffee and a nutty aroma. Its USA Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper cloaks a Dominican binder and a Nicaraguan Ligero and Dominican Piloto Cubano filler. Once rolled, each cigar is encased in a glass tube to preserve its flavor. Handmade in the Dominican Republic. The Partagas Black Label uses rare medio tiempo leaves for its wrapper, which are darker, heavier, and richer than most wrapper leaves. These leaves are harvested only after they have been allowed to age on their stalks 50% longer than other wrapper leaves.

Repeated review, 13 months rest. Flavor profile is as to expected with robust coffee, dark chocolate, and spices. A fantastic blend with practically no bitterness. The burn stayed dead even, although the draw was a tad tight this time around.

Aged 2mo. The 1st 3rd required a few relights and touch ups. By the 2nd 3rd somehow it evened out and burned great. Draw great. Definitely a full body flavorful smoke. Several layers of flavor. Espresso, chocolate, spice, nut, cedar, oak, earth and leather.

A really nice flavor of coffee and light cedar in the first third. Second third had even more rich flavors of coffee and dark chocolate coming through. Cedar was dying out but leather picked up. Spice and pepper picking up on the retrohale. Final third had a much stronger body and the leather and spice picked up quite a bit, but not overbearing at all. Very tasty cigar, will buy again!
