Oliva Cigar Co. is a juggernaut that's one of the largest in Nicaragua yet remains boutique to its core and a darling of critics and cigar geeks. They have a plethora of 90+ ratings - 95, 96, and it's a fixture on the Cigar of The Year lists. The company as we know it was formed in 1995, but the family has been in the business dating all the way back to 1886, when Melanio Oliva started growing tobacco in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. Fast-forward to today, and they are found in almost every smoke shop, online retailer, and humidor you can find. A favorite of beginners and aficionados alike, no one can deny they are one of the best cigar manufactures on the planet.
92-Rated, Nicaraguan long fillers and binder. Finished with only the finest Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. Subtle notes of wood, coffee, and cream. Well balanced. Medium-bodied.

6 - Life is too short Alright, made it out to San Francisco for work. I was recommended a place to smoke. Selection was actually not bad. Today I also saw Oliva box deal on CP.com and was thinking of getting some cheaper Connecticuts. Saw this Oliva and wanted to try it. Welp good sirs, its boring as shit for profile. Its a very very creamy coffee cigar. No pepper, no sting, not very dynamic. Draw is good, pack is pretty hefty for a cheaper stick. Ive definitely overpaid in the bar, but the bar is worth it. The stick is not 1- End of Days (98 -100) 2 - Buy a box (90 - 97) 3 - Buy a five-packer (74 - 89) 4 - Bargain-buy (55 - 73) 5 - One & done (35 - 54) 6 - Life is too short (15 - 34) 7 - Strait to jail (0 -14)

A simple cigar on terms of flavor - wood and slight nuttiness. However, the construction is solid, the draw is clean, and the burn is even. Makes for a good cigar when you don't need anything complex.

This Nicaraguan Connecticut shade wrapper cigar delivered a perfect balance of mild to medium smoke. It imparted subtle hints of toasted almond, cedar, and a touch of creamy smoke. Truly remarkable! The smoke output was good to average. This cigar is an excellent choice for a morning coffee, and it’s definitely a keeper for both beginners and seasoned smokers. Grade B+

Primi 2/3 molto mild. Inizia a prendere forza verso la fine con note speziate e legnose. In bocca rimangono note di frutta a guscio, sopratutto pinoli e noci. Sul finale una punta di amaro in bocca, non fastidiosa ma neppure piacevolissima. Sicuramente migliore fino alla parte finale. Non percepite le note cremose, perlopiù legno e tabacco. Persistenza in bocca veramente leggera, le note di frutta a guscio svaniscono in fretta e non rimane più alcun gusto degno di nota. Sigaro senza alcuna caratteristica degna di nota, non penso lo ricomprerò
